• Retained as a consultant & expert witness in more than fifty-five cases
  
  
• Fifteen years experience as a claims counsel and supervisor: investigated, analyzed, determined and supervised the handling of claims and tenders of defense arising under title insurance policies or from real property escrows; managed litigation for California title insurance and escrow companies
  
  
• Ten years experience as a Senior Litigation Attorney for the in-house legal department of Fidelity National Financial: represented title insurers, insured owners and lenders and escrow companies in insurance coverage, bad faith, real property and escrow cases as lead attorney
  
  
• Twelve years experience handling civil trial and appellate litigation in the Bay Area in private law practices focusing on real property and insurance coverage law and as a legal services attorney
  
  
• Three years experience working full time writing and editing materials for treatises and practice books on California law for major publishing firm
  
  
• As in-house and private attorney, tried approximately 60 civil cases and handled numerous appeals
  
  
• Conducted claims awareness and loss prevention classes and taught professional seminars on title insurance coverage and escrow liability issues
